You can ask me anything …

It’s been very exciting writing recipes and information about Jamaica for my website. I’m also happy to hear that many of you have been trying my recipes and having great results! I have been getting good questions from you on my YouTube Channel and new Facebook Page. I’ve been answering your questions directly, however, I think it would be valuable to a lot of people for me to answer questions here on the website … maybe I’ll even do a video!

You can ask me about anything! …. cooking tips, ingredients, my recipes or even me personally, I’m open. Please send me your questions by June 22 by using the comment box below or by sending me an email at fay@CookLikeAJamaican.com (of course, you can still ask me questions after that date, too). I look forward to getting your questions!

Blessings,
Fay

    Hi Fay,

Great recipes! Can you please post a recipe for Jamaican fruit rum Christmas cake. I have been trying to get that recipe for awhile. Thanks. Kerisa

    • Hi Kerisa,
Thank you for getting in touch and for your request. I will definitely be adding my Rum Cake recipe in time for Christmas baking.
Make sure to join my mailing list to be notified when new recipes are added to the site.

  2. Hey Ms. Fay,

    Loveeeeee your recipes.
I recently tasted white rice and while itis such a simple food. How can I make sure everytime I make it, it is not soggy or hard?

    • Hi Brit,
Thank you for your kind words. You usually can’t go wrong with two parts water to 1 part rice. Bring to a boil then lower heat and simmer covered until fluffy. Remember to add some salt to the water too. Blessings, Fay
